British Iron-Age, UNINSCRIBED, Unit, Whaddon Chase type, head right with long braided hair and sideburns, small horse in front, voided star and pellet-in-annulet below, rev. sinuous horse right, winged annulet, pellets and cog-wheel above, pellet-in-annulets below, 1.23g/2h (ABC 2478; BMC –; VA 1540; S –). Good very fine, extremely rare; one of the finest of the 10 specimens known £500-700
