Geraldine Georgiana Mary Hervey, Marchioness of Bristol (1843-1927), daughter of Maj.-Gen. Hon. George Anson, C-in-C India 1856, married Frederick Hervey, Lord Jermyn (1834-1907), in 1862; he succeeded as the Marquess of Bristol in 1864. The Marchioness, who lived at Ickworth, Suffolk, died after being knocked down by a car at Hyde Park corner
