Three: Lieutenant (Observer) C. L. Tetlow, No. 10 Squadron, Royal Flying Corps, formerly Royal Army Service Corps, killed in action on 22 August 1916

British War and Victory Medals (Lieut.); Territorial Force War Medal (Lieut., A.S.C.) good very fine or better (3) £300-350

Cyril Lawson Tetlow, a school teacher from Southport, was killed in action on 22 August 1916, whilst flying with 2nd Lieutenant H. C. Marnham in a BE2c which was destroyed by anti-aircraft fire. They are both buried at Le Touret Military Cemetery, France. Sold with a copied group photograph of men of the West Lancashire Division, A.S.C., which includes recipient.
