Charles Robert Wilson was born in Brecon, Wales, and served during the Great War with the 1/2nd Battalion, Monmouthshire Regiment on the Western Front. He died of wounds on the Western Front, 23 October 1917, and is buried in the Dozinghem Military Cemetery, Westvleteren, Belgium.
