Cnut (1016-1035), Penny, Leofinc, lyfinc on ret, pellet in first, third and fourth spandrel, obv. reads cnvt rex angl;, legend starting at 12h and drapery radiating from brooch, 0.97g/9h (Blackburn & Lyon, London B; BEH –; SCBI Copenhagen 1507, same obv. die; N 781; S 1157). A trifle weak in parts, otherwise very fine, rare (£250-300)
