R.H.S. Case No. 30,635: ‘Frederick Magri, 4th Engineer, S.S. Joseph Scicluna. In the early hours of 27 November 1899, Henry Golchen, 2nd Engineer, fell from a small boat into the harbour at Palermo. Magri at once jumped in and diving brought him to the surface. They were then both hauled on board by a line.’
