Army L.S. & G.C., V.R., 3rd issue, small letter reverse (2049 Drumr. Richd. Clarke, 72nd Foot) slight edge bruising, good very fine £80-100

Drummer Richard Clarke served in the Crimean War and was awarded the medal with clasp for Sebastopol. In the Indian Mutiny he was present at the siege and capture of Kotah and the battle of Bunass for which he was awarded the medal without clasp.
