Life Saving Medal, utilizing a Queen Victoria ‘young head’ crown of 1845, this fitted with a scroll suspension, with silver clasp inscribed, ‘Presented to J. Wheatley, June 18th 1869’, and matching brooch bar inscribed, ‘From Mrs Heasman for saving her daughter’s life’, bar reverse additionally inscribed, ‘1869 J. Wheatley’ and with hallmarks for London 1906 and manufacturer’s mark, ‘W.H.T.’, some faint letters inscribed on coin obverse, coin obverse worn, reverse very fine £20-30
