P.F.F.); Afghanistan 1878-80, 2 clasps, Ali Musjid, Kabul (3 Gunner, No.4 (Hazara) Mn. By. P.F.F.); India General Service 1895-1902, 1 clasp, Relief of Chitral 1895 (3 Jemadar, No.4 (Hazara) Mn. By. P.F.F.); Delhi Durbar 1911, unnamed as issued, mounted for display, the second officially re-engraved and the first three probably all later official replacements, good very fine (4) £300-350

Akbar Ali enlisted in No. 4 (Hazara) Mountain Battery, Punjab Field Force, in March 1869, and rose to be Subadar-Major of the four P.F.F. batteries. On retirement in November 1903, he was appointed Honorary Captain. He was awarded the Order of British India, 1st Class in August 1901. Award of Delhi Durbar confirmed.
