Henry William Hicks was born in St. Pancras, Middlesex, and living in Kentish Town, enlisted at London. As a Private in the 7th Battalion King’s Royal Rifle Corps he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 18 May 1915. He was killed in action on 1 June 1915, aged 22 years. He was buried in the Chester Farm Cemetery, Ieper, West Vlaaderen, Belgium. He was the son of Louisa Dickens of 48 Falkland Street, Kentish Town, London. Sold with copied research.
