Samuel Ednonds was born on 1 November 1897. Mobilised on 21 August 1917, he was attached to the 4th Reserve Battalion R.N.V.R. On 11 January 1918 he was transferred to the Hawke Battalion R.N.B. in France. He was invalided to England in September 1918 having received a gun-shot wound to the left fore-arm in late August. Edmonds was demobilised on 3 January 1919. Sold with copied service papers.
