Robert T. Blackstock was born in Roscrea, Tipperary, lived in Helensburgh, Dumbartonshire and enlisted at Dumbarton. Serving with the 7th (Service ) Battalion Royal Scots Fusiliers, he arrived in France on 8 July 1915. Served in the 45th Brigade in the 15th Scottish Division. Blackstock died (of wounds?) on 26 September 1915. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Loos Memorial. With copied casualty details.
