Air Force Medal, G.VI.R. (740712 F./Sgt. V. A. Clouder, R.A.F.); 1939-45 Star; Air Crew Europe Star; Defence and War Medals, extremely fine (5) £1400-1600

A.F.M. London Gazette 31 March 1942. The recommendation states:

‘This N.C.O. has been a Flying Instructor at this School [No. 9 S.F.T.S.] since 13 November 1939. During this period he has carried out his duties conscientiously and efficiently despite the fact that he has always wanted to become an operational pilot. During his period of service at this School he has flown 884 instructional hours by day and 117 instructional hours by night.’
