First reprinted from BNJ, 1973. The Wiltshire Numismatic Society Bulletin, initiated by the Society’s then vice-chairman, W. Underwood, includes a useful series of articles on tokens, specifically those of Devizes and Marlborough, written by Kempson and Underwood himself
