Frank Gordon, who served as a stalker on the Balmoral Estate, was awarded his Royal Victorian Medal in October 1928 and his ‘Thirty Years’ Bar on 6 May 1940. During the Great War, from February 1916, he served in the U.K. in an Agricultural Company of the Gordon Highlanders (Territorials).
