Colin has been involved in the art and antiques world from a young age. Starting as a collector, he quickly moved to dealing to fund his ever expanding coin collection.

From coins and medals he navigated to the expanding market for Scottish silver. Through continued close working relationships with collectors, museums and research on the subject he has become an internationally recognised authority, regularly advising museums and collectors on acquisitions and cataloguing.

As a trained auctioneer with many years' experience within the auction trade, Colin enjoys the process of working with a client on items for sale, from initial contact and consignment through to selling the pieces on the day.
