Graduating from Exeter University in 2004 with a degree in Ancient History and Archaeology, Laura joined the jewellery department at Bonham’s Oxford saleroom. In 2011 she was promoted to be Bonhams Jewellery Specialist for south west England.

In 2015 Laura was invited to co-found our new Jewellery department. An auctioneer since 2007, she especially enjoys researching and cataloguing unusual or historic jewels and she has a particular interest in Medieval and post-Medieval antiquarian jewellery.

Based in Bridport on the Jurassic Coast, Laura meets clients and collectors across the south and west. She holds professional gemmology FGA and DGA qualifications and is engaged as an independent valuer for the Treasure Valuation Committee at the British Museum
