Sold with copied discharge papers dated March 1826, ‘... discharged as a consequence of impaired vision also bad health from recurrent fever contracted in the Ionian Islands in 1821 and 1824, and a gunshot wound in left arm received at Toulouse in 1814’. The published medal roll confirms the four clasps to the recipient.
