Anglesey, Amlwch, Parys Mine Co, Penny, 1790, Williams issue, druid’s head encircled by wreath with 22 acorns, no signature on truncation, rev. pm co cypher with sprig of oak above, small letters, edge payable in london or anglesey, 29.88g/12h (DH 251). Tiny planchet flaw in upper reverse field and lightly rubbed at front of hood, otherwise brilliant and virtually as struck, attractive and very rare £250-300
