John Dixon, Master of the Smack Richard of Ramsgate. ‘Aided by his crew, four in number, in rescuing from their foundering vessel the master and crew, consisting of eight persons of the brig Edgar of Blyth. Awarded the Silver Medal and £8 to the master and crew, to be apportioned by the Honorary Agent.’
