WORLD ART MEDALS France, La Source, c.1898, a large uniface bronze plaque by J.-B. Daniel-Dupuis, naked female stood drinking from an ornate fountain, 132 x 72mm (PBE 321; Coll. R. Marx 327-8; CGMP p.175; BDM I, 662; cf. BM Acq. 1983-7, p.20, 66). Very fine, rare in this size; set into a polished wooden frame [split and repaired] incorporating an easel mount on the back (£90-120)
