British Tokens, Tickets and Passes

17th Century Tokens, Wales, denbighshire, Denbigh, Thomas Shaw, Penny, 1669, 1.24g/12h (Boon 47b; N –; D 33A). Partly weak at 5 o’clock (and corresponding on reverse) and a tiny flan crack at edge, otherwise fine and extremely rare, perhaps the best known specimen and far superior to the two in NMW £200-300
