William Mundell was born in Glasgow, Scotland, in July 1896, and enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force in Toronto in December 1914. He had earlier served in 4th Field Battery, Canadian Field Artillery; sold with copied attestation paper.
Percy Bell was born in Grantham, Lincolnshire, and enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force at Barryfield Camp in September 1915. He was discharged in November 1917; sold with copied attestation paper.
Oscar George Plewis was born at Stoke, Kent, England, in December 1894, and enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force in Toronto in September 1915. Embarked for England, he originally went out to France in the 2nd Divisional Ammunition Column, but later transferred to 6th Brigade, C.F.A., and was killed in action south-west of Arras on 31 March 1918, aged 22 years. He was the son of George and Phoebe Plewis of Grain Road, Stoke, Rochester, Kent, and is buried in Bellacourt Military Cemetery, Riviere, in the Pas de Calais; sold with copied service record.
Gabriel Watson was born in Newcastle, England, in September 1882, and enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force at Yprkton, Saskatchewan, in June 1915. He had earlier served in the Imperial Yeomanry. Watson died at Port Alberni, B.C., in August 1961; sold with copied attestation paper.
Herbert Benjamin Ricketts was born in Birmingham, England, in April 1886, and enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force in Victoria, B.C., in May 1916. He had earlier served for six years in the Royal Navy; sold with copied attestation paper.
