Harry Egginton was born in Princess-End, Stafford and enlisted at Wolverhampton. Formerly served in the Royal Garrison Artillery and Lancashire Fusiliers. When serving with the 11th battalion Border Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 2 December 1917, aged 35 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial. He was the husband of Elsie Egginton, of 14 Mostyn Street, Wolverhampton. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
