Edward VII (1901-1910), The Franco-British Exhibition in London, 1908, a silver plated bronze plaque by C Pillet, female figures representing England and France joining hands over the cliffs of Dover reverse female figure with standards above view of London, 70 x 58mm (BDM IV, 538). Good very fine
The exhibition was staged on a newly prepared site at White City, West London, and it is presumably that part of White City and neighbouring Acton that can be seen on the reverse of the medal.
