Fergus Henry Mundell was born in Cape Province and attested for the South African Overseas Expeditionary Force at Potchefstroom on 3 February 1916. He served with the 2nd South African Infantry during the Great War on the Western Front from 14 August 1916, and was wounded in action by gun shot to the left leg on 13 April 1917. He was discharged on account of his disability at Wynberg on 30 April 1918. Sold with copied service papers.
Norman Victor Mundell was born in Cape Province and attested for the South African Overseas Expeditionary Force at Potchefstroom on 3 February 1916. He served with the 2nd South African Infantry during the Great War on the Western Front from 21 September 1916, and was killed in action on 12 April 1917. He is buried in Brown’s Copse Cemetery, Roeux, France. Sold with copied service papers.
