Wilfred William Hutchings was the son of Mr and Mrs G. Hutchings of 10 Gordon Terrace, Hoo, Rochester, Kent. He served during the Great War with the 2nd Battalion, East Kent Regiment, and was killed in action on the Western Front, 24 May 1915.
Private Hutchings is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial.
