Hugh Morgan was born in Liverpool and attested for the King’s Own Scottish Borderers at Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland. He served with the 2nd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 5 December 1914, and, having transferred to the Regimental Depot, died at home on 4 July 1916. He is buried in Kensal Green Roman Catholic Cemetery, London.
G. C. Thomson was commissioned into the Highland Light Infantry, and served with the 4th Battalion during the Great War in the Gallipoli theatre of War from 1 June 1915.
Allan Lawson Gillespie was commissioned into the Border Regiment, and served with the 11th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 9 February 1918.
