James Jarman was a native of Pitsea, Essex, born in 1884 and was a steam plough driver prior to his enlistment. Sold with copied Medal Index Card and various original documents including Divisional certificate for M.M., Protection Certificate, Certificate of Employment during the War, and notification to his wife or mother re admittance to No. 6 General Hospital Rouen, France, on 19 November 1917, with severe trench fever when serving in 12th Bn. Royal Fusiliers.
