Banque de l’Indochine, French Indochina, 100 Piastres/$100, Saigon, 16 February 1899, serial number L.8 511, Denormandie and Simon signatures, top left corner missing, original paper with no repairs or pressing anywhere, in PMG holder 12 NET, fine, and an extraordinary rarity, this being the first fully issued and un-cancelled example to come to auction for at least several decades. Very probably a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
