Alfred John Kelsall Geere was first commissioned on the Unattached List (I.A.) in August 1918, but joined the 67th Punjabis in the following month. As per his India General Service 1908-35 Medal, however, he obviously transferred to the 2/27th Punjabis shortly thereafter.
