15th century, gold posy ring, 1.92g, 1.8cm diameter; rectangular shaped band, slightly concave, decorated externally with sprigs of foliage headed on each side by a six-petalled flower divided alternately three times with an inscription in black lettering in Medieval French which reads mon coeur avez (You have my heart). Very fine £800-£1,000

Provenance: Found at Ware (Hertfordshire), before 1997 so not recorded by the PAS
