14th century, a miniature church brass funereal figure in the form of a reclining knight, measuring, 8.5cm x 4.7cm, his left arm akimbo with his head resting on his right hand, looking upwards wearing a coif, around his waist is a surcoat, his legs are crossed which might indicate he had been on a crusade. Flat back with rivet holes at each end for attachment. Very rare and fine with an olive green patina £800-£1,000

14th century, a brass rectangular strap end, measuring 5cm x 2.5cm, central openwork quatrefoil in a circular frame. Around the perimeter in Lombardic style ‘+ave +mar+ia+gra. The back plate is plain, while at the top is a rectangular extension decorated with chevrons between two rivets. Good very fine with an olive green patina £60-£80
