Important British Trade Tokens

Kempson’s Admiral Gardner Election token, 1796, Gardner in naval uniform standing in front of a cannon, rev. obelisk at left, fox standing on three blocks, no majesty but that of the people, etc, 21.48g/6h (DH 226; BHM 411). Flaw through 6 of date and minor rim nicks, otherwise extremely fine with some original colour (£50-70)
