Volunteer firing right, undulating ground behind, six tents in the righ middle distance, a thistle and rose in the foreground, legend above ‘Best shot at ball practice’; rev. crowned garter with usual motto, engraved around ‘Prize Medal - Third Best Shot’, and within the garter ‘Shot for by the HC & SV Rifle Company’, rim pierced at top for suspension but this lacking, very fine £80-120
