British North Borneo Company Medal 1897-1916, 1 clasp, Punitive Expedition, silver issue, unnamed specimen, 2nd type ribbon, nearly extremely fine £150-200

13 silver and 75 bronze ‘Punitive Expedition’ medals were initially produced, of which 12 and 74 were awarded respectively. Supplied unnamed, some were then engraved locally. Bronze medals could be exchanged for silver in 1905/06.
