1st Staffordshire Artillery Volunteers, a fine and rare other ranks (?) plated white metal QVC helmet plate 1878-80 only, Royal Arms with ‘First’ top scroll and ‘Staffordshire Artillery Volunteers’ on the bottom, the reverse indicates that this was originally a sabretache plate with nine screw posts; 1st Shropshire and Staffordshire Artillery Volunteers, a very rare other white metal QVC helmet plate 1880-1901, Royal Arms with blank top scroll and ‘1st Shropshire and Staffordshire Artillery Volunteers’ on the bottom, very good condition (2) £300-350
