5th Battery Edinburgh Artillery Volunteers, a very rare other ranks plated white metal forage cap badge c1860, a shield bearing the Scottish Lion with the Royal Crown of Scotland above, lying over crossed cannon barrels, to the left ‘EA’, to the right ‘VC’, below a tri-part scroll bearing the motto of the Order of the Thistle, two loop fasteners, very good condition £200-250
