William H. Domone, aged 23 years, a Warehouseman, living at 74 High Street, Exeter, rescued Matthew John Dunsford, aged 10 years, of 8 Verney Place, Exeter. At 4.30 p.m. on 27 July 1867, the boy fell into the Exeter Basin. Domone jumped in, dived for the boy and brought him to the wall (Ref. R.H.S. Case No. 18,037). With some copied research.
