David II (1329-1371), First coinage, Second issue, Sterling, mm. cross pattée, bust left with sceptre, smaller lettering, colon after david pellet after dei, reads gracia, rev. rex sco tto rvm, long cross, four mullets of six points in angles, medium-sized lettering, 1.04g/1h (Savage 26/bi; Burns Bust 6/Dakers Reverse 3; SCBI 35, 346, same dies; B 29, fig. 247; S 5088). Very fine and toned £150-£200
