David II (1329-1371), Second coinage, Class A, Groat, class A6, Edinburgh, mm. cross pattée, small young bust, tressure of six arcs, nothing in spandrels, crosslet stops, saltire after scotorvm, 3.73g/6h (SCBI 35, 369 same obv. die; B 10, fig. 257, same obv. die; S 5091). Slightly small of flan, good fine or better £150-£200
