Three: Lance-Corporal M. Mitchell, 4th, late 20th Battalion London Regiment, died of wounds, 12 September 1918

Mark Mitchell was born in Bermondsey, and living at Tooting, enlisted at Blackheath. Serving with the 20th Battalion London Regiment, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 19 August 1915. Serving as a Lance-Corporal in the 4th Battalion London Regiment, he died of wounds on 12 September 1918, aged 20 years. He was buried in the Vis-en-Artois British Cemetery, Haucourt. He was the son of Michael Mitchell of 19A Coverton Road, Tooting, London. Sold with copied m.i.c.
