Lieutenant Sydney Baker Cooper, the son of Mary Cooper of The Vicarage, Sandford Hill, Longton, Staffordshire was killed in action on 27 August 1918 whilst serving with the 19th Battalion (Central Ontario Regiment) Canadian Infantry. He is buried in Quebec Cemetery, Cherisy, France.
