Peter Angus is also shown on the Colonial List. Thirty 4 clasp medals issued to the 3rd Foot but only 3 with this combination of clasps.
Peter Angus was born in the Parish of Reay, near Thurso, Caithness, and enlisted at Thurso on 18 May 1807. He was discharged in the rank of Corporal at Dublin on 10 August 1821, in consequence of reduction in the Establishment and ‘from his being a good deal worn out from fatigue, privation and disease on actual service in the field, in the Peninsula and in France, and from his being often sickly in consequence.’ Sold with copy discharge papers.
