Archibald Smith was born in Glasgow on 3 March 1883. A Chauffeur Mechanic by occupation, he enlisted into the R.N.A.S. as a Petty Officer Mechanic (E) on 29 October 1914. Based at Pembroke III and President II, he saw active service with the Armoured cars in France. Later transferred to the Army. Sold with copied service paper, m.i.c. and other research.
