Charles Fisher entered the R.N.A.S. as a Private, in April 1913. He served on the aircraft carrier Ark Royal, December 1914-July 1917. Rated as a Petty Officer Mechanic from 1 June 1915. Later transferred to the R.A.F.

Herbert John French was born in Marylebone, London on 27 April 1880. A Motor Engineer by occupation, he entered the R.N.A.S. as a Petty Officer Mechanic on 27 October 1914. Based at
Pembroke III and President II, he served at Grain and Crescent. Later taken into the R.A.F.

Norman George Lovell was born in Reigate, Surrey on 18 September 1892. An Engineer by occupation, he entered the R.N.A.S. as a Petty Officer Mechanic on 25 June 1915. Based at
President and Daedalus, he was later taken into the R.A.F.

Edward Thomas Shillan was born in Stepney, London, on 25 June 1893. A Clerk by occupation, he entered the R.N.A.S. as a Petty Officer Mechanic on 11 November 1914. Based at
Pembroke III and President II, he served for some time at Rillingholme and Oldby. All with copied service papers.
