George IV (1820-1830), Halfcrown,1825, 2nd head, 3rd reverse, similar to last (ESC 642; SC 75 ; S 3809). Old gilt, so much so as to appear as though struck on a plated blank (as Barton’s metal), almost extremely fine, pleasing (£50-60)
