George Robert Rice Kitley was born in St. Pancras, London in 1930. He enlisted into the 1st Battalion Manchester Regiment c.1949. Promoted to Corporal and served in Malaya. On amalgamation, joined the 1st Battalion King’s Regiment and served as a Private in Northern Ireland. With a few copied notes.
