Henry VII (1485-1509), Facing Bust issue, Second period, Groat, class IIIc, mm. greyhound’s head (no.2) on obv., rose on rev., crown with inner arch plain, reads fr, double saltires before civi, single saltire after tas, before lon and after don, 3.11g/12h (Shuttlewood 29, same dies; Stewartby pl. 28, 485, same rev. die; P & W IIIc, cross-end 9; cf. SCBI Ashmolean 404-5; N 1705c; S 2199). Weak on drapery (and corresponding on reverse), otherwise good fine, grey tone, rare £80-£100
