Tokens, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE, Slough, William Till, Proof Halfpenny, 1794, in silver, lion rampant to left, rev. view of the Red Lion inn, edge plain, 13.17g/12h (DH 24; Preston-Morley 1046, this piece; cf. DNW 134, 388). Minor hairlines and a tiny graze by lion’s left forepaw, otherwise brilliant and practically as struck, attractively toned, very rare £300-£400
